Welch’s Transport Ltd is the main revenue provider to Welch Group Holdings Ltd which is privately owned and directed by the Welch Family, spanning over 80 years and now in its 4th generation. Welch’s Transport Ltd offers a variety of distribution and high-quality storage services to a wide range of industries in order to deliver varied goods in consignment sizes from a single, small pallet to a full artic load.

Our priority is to utilise our own fleet of approx 80 vehicles to the maximum before consigning freight to alternative distribution channels; for small or dangerous consignments we also have the option of using the Palletline and Hazchem Networks, with their tight quality control, bar-code traceability and Digital Signature Capture at the delivery point. Whichever distribution channel proves to be the best for any given consignment, your goods remain our responsibility from the point of order to the point of invoice.

Our size allows us to provide a level of personalised service second to none. Across our 4 depots and 2 commercial sites we can undertaking General Haulage, Palletised Freight Network (Palletline), Dangerous Goods Network (Hazchem), Specialist Movements (abnormal loads), Contract Distribution, Warehousing, Commercial Sales and Aftercare, Office/factory Installation and Moves and Crane Hire.
